@AndrewDARMACAP IC network will b v decentralized from get go. The challenge with private computation is that all copies of state (i.e. contract/canister memory pages) is encrypted. So if nodes stop functioning, can't fix w/o backdoor, and data lost. Looking at backdoor key sharing initially...
